In 2024, Funke founded AfemBrightMinds.org, named in honor of her parents, Albert and Felicia, who believed in her potential and made unimaginable sacrifices for her education. The foundation was established with a clear mission: to identify, nurture, and support intellectually gifted children from underprivileged backgrounds, providing them with the resources, guidance, and opportunities to excel.
